816: Open Working Hunter Class for 4 year olds or over, 153cms or over

The course will consist of natural type fences with sensible filling. It will have a combination of uprght and spread fences and will include a double. A small gate or water fence may also be included. Max height 1metre. The same rider must ride the horse throughout. Horses entered in the Open Working Hunter Class may not enter in the Novice Working Hunter Class.

Exhibitors please note:

  • Numbers will not be sent out but can be collected in the Horse Secretary Tent on the morning of the Show.
  • Horse boxes and Trailers, please follow road signs and Stewards directions on show day.
  • it is a requirement for all equines to travel with their passports. 
  • Equine premises number must accompany all entries
  • While every effort has been made to avoid clashing, events on Show Day may cause classes to run late. 
  • Competitiors are asked to be on time.

Note: Juniors- Don't forget to look at Junior classes in other sections of the show

PLEASE NOTE: Rings will begin on time. Please be on time for your classes to keep things moving. It is up to competitiors to be at the ring for the start of their classes. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • Horse riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in ridden classes are strongly advised, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear which complies to up-to-date safety standards.
  • Exhibitors are advised to ensure that their public liability policy covers the exhibition of livestock at Public Shows.
  • On arrival at the showground the driver and one handler per vehicle will be admitted free. All other passengers must pay. 
  • Horse Boxes & Lorries only in Equestrian Parking Area
